As women, we give ourselves away. Whether it’s work, children, husband, or ministry, the hats we wear can be hard to juggle. This week, spend time receiving from the Father. Allowing Him to fill up those parched areas, enables you to give freely.

Key Verse: Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. Matthew 10:8

  • Monday – So often, we work for the crowns this world has to offer. In Christ, you have been given a multitude of blessings, including a crown that will never fade. Where are you trying to receive from the world that which only the Chief Shepherd can provide?
    • And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. 1 Peter 5:4
  • Tuesday – The moment we accept Christ, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and receive supernatural power; a power which includes courage, ability, confidence, and authority. What area do you most need to receive His power?
    • But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
      Acts 1:8
  • Wednesday – The more we give, the more we receive. God has promised an overflowing blessing – pressed down, shaken together and running over. Has God asked you to give something in order to receive something greater?
    • Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
  • Thursday – Believing you have received something begins with gratitude. Have you been asking God for something in prayer? Today, spend time thanking God in advance for the requests laid before Him.
    • Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
  • Friday – As His child, you have received gifts and talents designed to serve others and administer His grace. Is there an area God is asking you to “give” the gift you have received?
    • Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
