He does not crack under pressure, and His promises are ever true (Psalm 89:34). He replaces the heaviness of a worldly yoke ladened with striving and surviving. In committing to a pursuit of God, He promises we will find:<\/p><h2>1.) Seek Him And Receive Rest<\/h2><p>The greatest treasure of seeking the Lord is the promise that we find Him, and, in finding Him, we find rest for our weary souls. He is the source of rest because His yoke is easy, and His\u00a0burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).<\/p><ul><li>&#8220;I love those who love me, and those who diligently seek me will find me. Proverbs 8:17<\/li><li>But from there, you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29<\/li><li>So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 11:9-10<\/li><li>&#8216;You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Seeking God Gives You Life<\/h2><p>The same God who created life is trustworthy with your life. He came so that you might live abundantly. Seeking God ignites the eternity He placed in every heart and sets our mind on eternal things. While the world says, seek fulfillment to find life, God&#8217;s word says in\u00a0seeking Him, you will fulfill your life.<\/p><ul><li>For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel, &#8220;Seek Me that you may live. Amos 5:4-6<\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-14231\" class=\"text Ps-22-26\">The poor will eat\u00a0and be satisfied;<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"indent-1-breaks\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"text Ps-22-26\">those who seek the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0will praise him\u2014<\/span><\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-22-26\">may your hearts live forever! Psalm 22:26<\/span><\/span><\/li><li>The humble shall see\u00a0<i>this, and<\/i>\u00a0be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. Psalm 69:32<\/li><\/ul><h2>3.) Those Who Seek God Find Strength<\/h2><p>His strength is limitless. When our knees become weak from pressure and our hands tremble with fear, He strengthens and steadies our way. It&#8217;s in those lowest moments where His strength shines the brightest. Here we mount wings of eagles to soar above the earthly circumstances, to run and not grow weary (Isaiah 40:31).<\/p><ul><li>For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9<\/li><li><em>Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.<\/em> 1 Chronicles 16:11<\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-15610\" class=\"text Ps-105-3\">Glory in his holy name;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-105-3\">let the hearts of those who seek the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0rejoice.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-15611\" class=\"text Ps-105-4\">Look to the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0and his strength;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-105-4\">seek his face\u00a0always. Seeking God Fills You With Joy &amp; Gladness<\/h2><p>Joy is found in giving the Master the keys to your heart. Sitting in the presence of Him, who is more precious than gold and sweeter than honey. He revives our souls, gives light to our eyes, and overflowing joy to our hearts. Choosing To Seek God Leads To Deliverance<\/h2><p>God has never forsaken those who diligently seek Him. Those who trust in Him will never be abandoned (Psalm 9:10). He is a fortified tower of safety for all who run to Him (Proverbs 18:10).<\/p><ul><li><span id=\"en-NIV-14393\" class=\"text Ps-34-4\">I sought the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>,\u00a0and he answered me;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-34-4\">he delivered\u00a0me from all my fears. <span id=\"en-NIV-14394\" class=\"text Ps-34-5\">Those who look to him are radiant;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"text Ps-34-5\">their faces are never covered with shame.\u00a0<\/span>Psalm 34:4-5<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-16339\" class=\"text Ps-145-18\">The\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0is near\u00a0to all who call on him,<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"indent-1-breaks\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"text Ps-145-18\">to all who call on him in truth.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-16340\" class=\"text Ps-145-19\">He fulfills the desires\u00a0of those who fear him;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-145-19\">he hears their cry\u00a0and saves them. Psalm 145:18-20<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-15713\" class=\"text Ps-107-13\">Then they cried to the <span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span> in their trouble,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-107-13\">and he saved them from their distress.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-15714\" class=\"text Ps-107-14\">He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-107-14\">and broke away their chains. Psalms 107:13-14<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2>6.) Discernment, Understanding, &amp; Wisdom Comes To Those Who Seek Him<\/h2><p>As we commit to seeking God first, His wisdom and understanding pour over us with true freedom to follow His plan and purpose for our lives. And the foolishness of God is wiser than all human wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:25). From His throne flows the discernment to live every day to the fullest, making the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5:15-16).<\/p><ul><li>Evil men do not understand justice, But those who seek the LORD understand all things. Proverbs 28:5<\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-16437\" class=\"text Prov-2-3\">Indeed, if you call out for insight\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Prov-2-3\">and cry aloud for understanding,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-16438\" class=\"text Prov-2-4\">and if you look for it as for silver\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Prov-2-4\">and search for it as for hidden treasure,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-16439\" class=\"text Prov-2-5\">then you will understand the fear of the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Prov-2-5\">and find the knowledge of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-16440\" class=\"text Prov-2-6\">For the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0gives wisdom;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Prov-2-6\">from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:3-6<\/span><\/span><\/li><li>Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Seeking God Infuses Hope<\/h2><p>Time in God&#8217;s presence renews endurance to run the race ahead, a longing to see His kingdom come, and an expectancy to see Him move here on earth. Because He cares for you, you can cast all your apprehension on Him and receive a restored hope for the future.<\/p><ul><li>This I recall to my mind; therefore<span class=\"text Lam-3-21\"> I have hope.\u00a0<\/span><i>Through<\/i>\u00a0the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u2019s mercies, we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.\u00a0<i>They are<\/i>\u00a0new every morning; great\u00a0<i>is<\/i>\u00a0Your faithfulness.<span class=\"versenum\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0<i>is<\/i>\u00a0my portion,\u201d says my soul, \u201cTherefore I hope in Him!\u201d The\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0<i>is<\/i>\u00a0good to those who wait for Him, to the soul\u00a0<i>who<\/i>\u00a0seeks Him. Psalm 34:10<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><em>And without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.<\/em> Hebrews 11:6<\/li><li>The LORD is good to them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. Lamentations 3:25<\/li><li>How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart? Seeking God&#8217;s Kingdom Leads to Righteousness<\/h2><p>Through Christ, we are declared righteous; however, living a virtuous life &#8211; daily &#8211; does not come easy. By seeking God, we can walk in the Spirit and not gratify the flesh&#8217;s desires (Galatians 5:16). We become like those with whom we spend time. Because apart from Him, we cannot produce a righteous life (John 15:5).<\/p><ul><li>Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12<\/li><li><span id=\"en-NIV-14247\" class=\"text Ps-24-5\">They will receive blessing\u00a0from the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-24-5\">and vindication\u00a0from God their Savior.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-14248\" class=\"text Ps-24-6\">Such is the generation of those who seek him,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Ps-24-6\">who seek your face,\u00a0God of Jacob. The steadfast pursuit of seeking God first is the only source of true satisfaction. He satisfies the hungry, longing soul with good things (Psalm 107:9) and promises that all who come to Him will not hunger or thirst (John 6:35).<\/p><ul><li>O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1<\/li><li>One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent, He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. Psalm 27:4-5<\/li><\/ul><p>In Matthew 13:44, Jesus tells a parable about a field with a hidden treasure. Filled with joy, the man who stumbled upon it sold everything he had to buy the field. His Kingdom is the treasure worth shoving everything aside to pursue.
